Rameaux's has hosted numerous charitable, artistic, educational and
political fund raising events. For charities and educational groups, we
offer generous discounts so that you can maximize your profits from the
event. In all cases, the basic approach is that the fund raising group
and Chef Rameaux negotiate a per-person cost for the event, and then you
are free to charge your contributors whatever you think is appropriate.
Unless your beer and wine are being contributed by another benefactor, Chef Rameaux's requires that these be purchased through us. However, for such events, similar deep discounts are available to charities and educational groups. We can do fund raisers either at the store of off-site. Venues such as ArtsSpace in downtown Raleigh are particularly well-suited for such events, or we will come to any other location you choose. We can accommodate groups up to 150-200 off-site. In the store, we can seat about 40, or, as we often do, host "stand-up," "come and go" events for up to 150. For outdoor, informal events, Chef Rameaux has the alternative to the pig pickin'. We frequently do fish frys, turkey frys, and other large-scale outdoor events. We can pull up in our full-service Wells Cargo concession trailer, "The Cajun One Pot," or we can bring all sorts of other outdoor cooking gear to your event. We assure you of a safe, sanitary, and fun experience. Your site will need to have running water, and electricity if I bring the trailer.
